I was putting a cd that said “Bob i put it under the keyboard” or “Bob dont look under the keyboard” into my ps5 (Bob is my uncles name) thinking it was a dvd player and i suddenly got a jolt of fear. next thing i know I was sitting up in my bed, phone in hand, my ears were ringing LOUDLY and i heard a bit of whispering. My eyes were mostly closed but i could still see just barely and i was tensed up super tightly and my hands and feet were tingly, going numb. whenever i tried to move at all, it would hurt alot and my body would get tighter. when i tried to lay back down it was literally like a force pushing me upwards away from my bed. I was fully aware of what was going on, but i didn’t know i was dreaming. I eventually just closed my eyes and then I woke up.
Dreams that involve disorientation, fear, and physical sensations can often be linked to subconscious anxiety or stress. Here's a potential interpretation of your dream:
Symbolism of the CD and Bob: The CD with messages intended for your uncle may symbolize something you need to communicate or express, or possibly represent issues or memories related to your uncle. The message itself, whether it's about not looking under the keyboard, suggests hidden aspects of your life or emotions that you might be avoiding or unsure about.
Confusion between devices: The act of trying to use a CD in a PlayStation 5 instead of a DVD player may reflect a feeling of confusion or being out of touch with something in your life. It might point to a situation where you feel you're not handling things correctly or are facing unexpected challenges.
The jolt of fear: The sudden fear you experienced likely indicates anxiety about the unknown, or stress that has built up in your waking life. Fear is a common response when confronting unresolved issues or feelings.
Physical sensations and sleep paralysis: Your description resembles a common experience associated with sleep paralysis, which occurs during the transition between wakefulness and sleep. It can involve feelings of pressure or a sense of being held down, which might symbolize feelings of being trapped or overwhelmed in your waking life. The ringing in your ears and whispering could represent distressing thoughts or concerns that you're struggling to process.
Awareness but inability to move: This aspect of your dream suggests a struggle between your desire for control and the feeling of being powerless. It may be tied to real-life situations where you feel stuck or unable to express yourself fully.
Overall, this dream might be a manifestation of inner conflict, anxiety, and the need to confront or communicate about certain issues, perhaps related to your relationship with your uncle or other aspects of your life. It could be beneficial to reflect on any stresses or unresolved feelings you might be experiencing and consider ways to process or express them more openly.
